SAMBAL, The place to be for Nasi Lemak!
SAMBAL @ The Scott Garden, Old Klang Road
A restaurant with a characteristic of typical village feel with stylish and timeless haven of serenity and wood finishing. Nasi Lemak Kampung (Fried fish) @ RM 12.00
Aromatic coconut milk rice served with kangkung (water spinach), sambal ikan bilis (anchovies chilli paste) with fried fish, hard boiled eggs and cucumber.
Nasi Lemak Ayam & Sotong (Squid) @ RM 15.00 Aromatic coconut milk rice served with sambal ikan bilis, sambal sotong (stir fried squids with chilli paste), crispy fried spiced chicken, hard boiled eggs and cucumber.
Ayam Masak Lemak Cili Padi @ RM 9.00
Spicy chicken dish prepared with turmeric, lemongrass, pounded bird's eye chilli and flavorful creamy coconut milk. The spiciness definitely brings extra kick to the taste bud.
Mee Rebus @ RM 8.00
One of the popular noodles dish in Malaysia. It's the yellowish noodles served with a thick spicy potato-based and shrimps gravy garnished with a hard-boiled egg, spring onions, bean sprouts, fried shallots, tau kwa (dried/ fried beancurd) and lime juice. The name of the restaurant "SAMBAL" which literally means chilli paste caught my attention as I love spicy food. The food served by SAMBAL is adequate/complacent but there is still room for improvement. Work harder!
