Hong Kee Dim Sum Restaurant @ USJ 9

Most of the time, most people prefer to wake up late at Sundays. As for me, once in a while, one should wake up early ro enjoy the Sunday breeze. Well, why so? Because it's different that's it! In a few hours time the Monday blues feeling will slowly creep in to visit again!

Besides roti telur, nasi lemak, kuih muih and sandwiches, dim sum is a what you can opt for as breakfast.

Look at all this dishes, tempting isn't it? Ahhhhhhha..... what a beautiful Sunday morning!

The dim sum dishes are definitely fresh at Hong Kee Dim Sum Restaurant. Although not everything tasted extremely good, but most of the dim sum served here seems pleasing. So, do wake up early to enjoy a good Sunday morning and pamper yourself with some sinful and yet delicious dim sum!

Murtabak @ Victory Arab Street, USJ 9

While waiting for my turn to do hair @
ShearXXposure Hair Art, I walked over to Restaurant Victory for some food. Yes! Murtabak to fill my stomach before dinner!

About Murtabak
Murtabak is a dish originated form India or probably originated from Middle East and brought to India. This dish is known as Murtabbaq in Saudi Arabia, meaning "folded" in Arabic. In Malaysia, this dish is normally served by the Mamak and commonly found in Mamak tea stalls or night markets.

Murtabak is made of folded flat bread wrapped with minced beef/chicken/sardine. The minced beef and chicken are normally marinated and cooked with curry.

Nasi Ayam Kampung @ Restoran A Hassan

Keeping in my mind that "expensive"is only my very first impression towards Restoran A Hassan after my first visit about few months ago. Now, I am wondering what makes me think so? There are eateries which is not worth paying a second visit
BUT not Restoran A Hassan.

Restoran A Hassan @ USJ 10
Serves Malay mixed rice with delicious Ayam Kampung Goreng as their signature dish. There are a few outlets which is located in Kampung Baru, Taman Desa, Shah Alam and other places.

Varieties of rich and spicy Malay dishes

Some greens to eat with sambal belacan for you?
Some people find it weird to eat this way but not for me, my mom used to prepare this back at home!

Ayam Percik with Lemak Pucuk Manis

Ayam Kampung Goreng
Can someone tell me if there is any specific name or word for ayam kampung in English??

Click at the pic to view their menu and price ya!

I love the sambal belacan served by this restaurant, that is another reason why I decided to revisit Restoran A Hassan as well. To experience typical Malay food, I would suggest Restoran A Hassan! A restaurant that serves exciting range of Malay cuisine with exotic flavour and culinary style.

Nyonya Laksa @ Fu Shou Lou USJ 2

Fu Shou Lou (Cantonese) in English means Mr. Beard has appeared in much newspaper and magazines review before for his delicious Nyonya Laksa.

Months before, Sam told me there is one stall in USJ 2 which is very famous with curry noodles. So we had our meal there with his bro the other day. Upon entering the shop, I saw newspaper and magazine cuttings pasted on the wall recommending Mr. Beard's nyonya laksa.

Fu Shou Lou Nyonya Curry Mee @ USJ 2
Now I understand why Sam told me it's curry mee instead of nyonya laksa. My first sip of the broth told me it's Nyonya Laksa and I said " This is laksa not curry mee lah!~" Then his bro pointed to Mr Beard's stall and said it's stated there "Nyonya". I was sitting facing the other way, I turned and saw the name of Mr. Beard's stall ,so it's Nyonya Laksa not Curry mee. There is a difference. Do you know? Although the color it's almost the same, the taste is different!

Nyonya Laksa @ RM 4.50
Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup from Peranakan(descendants) culture, which is the unique blend of Chinese and Malay elements found in Malaysia (Penang & Malacca) & Singapore during the old times.

So, I am wondering where is Mr. Beard from? No doubt......his nyonya laksa can be described with one word' Delicious!! Almost the sane with what I had in my hometown.....
