Hainan Tea @ Plaza Low Yat

Hainan Tea Station @ Plaza Low Yat are more likely for a place to catch a tea but they do serve other meals too. I have seen many reviews on their bread set but somehow, I have not try it as yet. Instead, we went there for lunch. These are photos I have taken after 2 visits.

Hainan Tea Station @ Plaza Low Yat

Dinosaur Milo Extreme @ RM 4.50
Although there are quite a few of eateries that serve this drink, but this is the first time I am trying Milo Extreme! Am sort of addicted to it! Well, sometimes guilty actually....hahahaha..who cares! I like eating those Milo that clogs together in cold. Reminds me of the good old days, there are funny things that we do during childhood... isn't it? We used to have a Milo feast! One of us sneak into the kitchen and bring the whole tin of Milo, the other two is waiting underneath the staircase for the Milo Feast. Milo- Bring Out the Champion In You!

Hainan Coffee
Served in a small cup, slightly bitter and yet aromatic- another kick to start the other half of the office hour!

Hot Ginger Coke @ RM 3.90
Hot ginger coke, heard that it is a good remedy for cold. Well, I am not having a cold, ordered simply because I wanted to have something hot but not coffee! The combination of coke and ginger gives a spicy kick and the fresh ginger leaves a burning sensation that lingers around the throat then all the way down.

Nasi Lemak Chicken Rendang @ RM 6.90

Nasi Lemak Fried Sausage @ RM 6.90

So, what's for lunch? The common Nasi Lemak that makes one very full and then sleepy after lunch.! Well, the fragant rice tasted so-so but the chilli paste was good.

Combo Chee Cheung Fun @ RM 3.80
This is what I have ordered during my second visit. Wanted to have a light lunch but ordered chee cheung fun (rice noodle roll). The rice noodle roll is smooth and silky but the combo of the not so fresh fishball spoiled the dish.

Probably, I should try Hainan Tea's bread sets during my next visit. Are you planning to visit Plaza Low Yat to shop for gadgets? You might want to stop by at Hainan Tea for a drink

Kopi Club @ Low Yat Plaza

So, it's lunch time and it's time
Kopi Soya Cino Ping @ RM 4.90
Might not be something new for others but this is the first time I tried coffee with soya bean mix with grass jelly. A glass of coffee which is not too thick and sweet yet refreshing!

Nasi Pantai Udang Sambal- Sotong @ RM 12.50
Fried special marinated prawns with chilli paste and squids cooked with tumeric served with four angle beans and special sauce. According to my colleagues- Thumbs up!!

Nasi Goreng Ayam Berempah @ RM 10.90
This is what I have ordered, spicy fried rice served with fried chicken marinated with herbs. Too bad, the fried rice looks good in color but it's tasteless. The specially marinated chicken failed to satisfy me too.

Set Nasi Ayam Goreng @ RM 11.90 comes with a cup/glass of coffee/tea
One of the rice set Kopi Club offered is marinated fried chicken served with stir fried cabbage. Dissapointingly, rice served without any sauce or chilli paste. To add on sambal (chilli paste), you will need to pay extra for it.

Kopi Club is a cafe that you might consider to stop by for a cup/glass of coffee. Besides, rice set, they do served other noodles dishes like fried noodles in mamak style, fried mee hoon and etc.

Gelato @ Leo's Cafe

Congratulations to Leo's Cafe! Another new outlet at Low Yat Plaza now. Well, this is not the first time I have been to Leo's Cafe as there is one outlet very near to my place. I never revisit anyway as the food served doesn't taste good or special to me at all.

Anyway, I went for lunch with my colleagues at the newly opened outlet in Low Yat. Again, the food failed to satisfy me. I suggested to try their gelato and to my surprised, gelato served in Leo's cafe were excellent!!!

About Gelato
Gelato originated from Italy. It is an Italian ice cream made from liquid, milk or water, sweeteners, flavorings and etc. The word gelato, might sounds a bit like it is related with gelatin ( am explaining what is gelatin here, people who bakes and cooks definitely knows what it is). Gelatin is not used in preparing Gelato anyway. The word "gelato" means "to freeze" in Italian.

In the old time, Gelato is considered a luxury dessert as to make a perfect gelato, they will need to climb up the mountain for perfect ice. We are lucky, am I right??

Simply Seduction @ RM 9.80
Hazelnut and Tiramisu gelato served with whipped cream, colourice, love letters and chocolate dips. The hazelnut gelato is sedusive and delicious! This dessert is named correctly!

Refreshing Fusion @ RM 9.80
Well, we actually ordered Fruitti Island but was served with this and after a bit of tasting, we noticed the gelato served is different in color with what is shown in the menu. We questioned the waiter and they took back the gelato. I didn't try it anyway. According to my colleague, the fresh mint gelato were great and chilling! We should have ask them to leave it to us and add on another order.

Fruitty Island @ RM 9.80
So we were then served with the correct order. Losing nothing at all , as the strawberry and the apricot flavored gelato were as good as the others!

Leo's Cafe!-Sharing Yummy Fun 2gether! And here I am sharing with you guys! ! I will only revisit for the gelato but not the food afterall~lol~
