Youngster wanabe like me joins the crowd at Tbowl Concept Restaurant ( Toilet Bowl Restaurant)!!!

I knew that this restaurant is in Queensbay mall, Penang but wasn't aware that they are already here since December 2009. Interesting!

T- Bowl Concept Restaurant @ Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur

A charismatic restaurant established in year 2008 with their first outlet in Queensbay Mall Penang. The restaurant holds a theme of bathroom concept. A creatively designed and uniquely decorated restaurant where toilet bowls are used as chairs and basin as tables. Even the food is served in a mini ceramic toilet bowl (food bowl).

T- Bowl serve varieties of food ranging from Japanese, Korean, Hong Kong, Western and oriental cuisines. Wanna try dining at the toilet bowl? Here's my sharing.....

Decided to try their ice cream. Since there wasn't enough menu at that time, this is how I ordered my dessert:

Me : 我要那个屎 ice cream ( I want that shit ice cream)
Waiter : Okay,我帮你order最多人吃的屎。( I will put in the order- the signature shit)

Enjoyed my dining experience at T-Bowl and shared my experience amongst my friends, some of them finds it disgusting but I personally think it's quite interesting

Do pop in and have a look!! Go for the concept!

TEPPANYAKI 鉄板焼@ Sungei Wang

About Teppanyaki

Teppanyaki, is a worldwide known Japanese cooking concept. It's a one of a Japanese cuisine, where raw ingredients/ food are fried on an iron griddle. Teppan literally means 鉄板 -iron griddle and yaki indicates grilling.

Well, here is another suggestion for everyone! If you happen to be in Sg Wang plaza, Try Teppanyaki! Teppanyaki used to be a place that we often go for lunch BUT NOT for Teppanyaki.

Confusing???

The explanation - We used to visit Teppanyaki for chicken rice! To the left of the restaurant, there is a corner for chicken rice. It think it's run by the same owner of Teppanyaki- am not so sure though and never intended to ask. Tried Teppanyaki only after we(office) moved out from the Golden Triangle area.

And, of course, it's better than Mr. Teppanyaki!! Okay, I admit- I dislike Mr Teppanyaki very much, !!

But, if I were to compare Teppanyaki & Mr Teppanyaki- Teppanyaki is much better ( for me)!

Japin 绝 品 @ Sungei Wang Plaza

The worldwide known Japanese noodle dish, ramen is believed to be originated from China and reached the Japanese culture later on. Although ramen originates from China, there are countless variations of ramen in Japan. The noodle dish is served in a meat/fish broth and normally topped with sliced pork/pork cubes.

Besides Ajisen ramen, JAPIN is my favorite spot for ramen. The restaurant was opened in year 2009 at Sungei Wang Plaza after the Lower Ground floor is renovated. I used to have ramen for lunch but too bad, we moved out (office) from the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur area already. Doesn't matter anyway...I revisited JAPIN!!

Spicy Soup with minced por. Do request for the minced pork to be served separately to have a better taste of it!

Kakuni Japin Ramen @ RM 15.80 (set @ RM 17.60 served with salad and green tea)

Stewed pork with sweet and saltish -soya sauce rich soup based served with soft boiled egg. The soft boiled egg is known as Ajiatama egg, a seasoned boiled egg. The egg yolk is still is sort of soft and runny.

Japin do served Ajitama as a side dish- if you would like to taste more of it!

Geki Kara Ramen @ RM 12.80 (set @ RM 14.60 served with salad and green tea)

My all time favorite choice of ramen!! Why?? Because it's extra spicy! Ramen served in spicy soup base top with few sliced pork.

Kimuchi Ramen @ RM 12.80 (set @ RM 14.60 served with salad and green tea)

Ramen served with kimchi and pork. Not so spicy though but still, satisfying!

Set Lunch @ U Cafe

Was looking through some old photos and saw this pics which was taken earlier. This is a cafe where we go for lunch at least once or twice in a month, as it is very near our office. But seems like I have not post anything about this cafe. Food qualities are on par and price were reasonable too.

So if you are in the golden triangle of KL and do not know where to dine, here is a suggestion for you! U-Cafe which is located in Sungai Wang Plaza. It is named U-cafe because it is your ( the customers ) cafe.
