A dining session among us for best pal's birthday celebration! The October Birthday Boy!! What? He is no longer a boy anyway... *lol*

So, I made a reservation at Tao Cuisine and it seems like it's fully book for most of the time. Anyway, it's a last minute confirmation as we were put on the waiting list.

001

Tao道 Cuisine @ Sunway Giza

Tao Cuisine offers ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet with full table service, as in- a waiter/waitress is allocated to each dining table and they shall be the person in charge to serve at your table throughout your dining session.

The buffet spread consist choices of sushi, sashimi, teppans, desserts and oysters. As we walked in, we thought that's all that they are offering! And we were all wrong!

Each of us were given a menu, and we were told that we can order anything we like as long as it is listed in the menu, it's included in the buffet! Great!

And the nom-nom journey begins......

Weekend Buffet Hi Tea at SWEZ BRASSERIE, Eastin Hotel PJ

Swez Brasserie @ Eastin Hotel KL holds a clean and minimal decor concept ,which is both casual and breezy at the same time. The environment was good but a little noisy as it was quite packed. As for the food, please see rating below.

So it's after work and I didn't know where to go for dinner. Too tired of thinking......was looking around in my bag and found the free dinner buffet voucher at Zende Restaurant @ Seri Pacific Hotel. So I decided to use the free voucher now!!Headed to the hotel to have my dinner and ahhhaaa.......finally I use one of the free vouchers I have!

Am not going to write much about this buffet dinner as there are reasons for it. Perhaps you can email me to know more about it or else do the judgment based on my ratings at the end of this post. Don't judge through photos...huh.....

Staff Party @ Jogoya, Star Hill Gallery

I was longing to visit Jogoya earlier, knowing that our staff party will be held in Jogoya, Star Hill Gallery on the 17th October 2008, so Jogoya was then taken off from my plan list
.

It so happen that a few days before our staff party, I came across this post "Toilet in Jogoya & Language in Sungai Wang" in the Nuffnang Innit Popular posts column. The picture posted in the blog keeps appearing in my mind and each time when I heard someone mentioning "Jogoya" the picture popped up....like as if the "Jogoya & the picture" is a combo set! Didn't really enjoy my dinner that night!

First session: Enjoy your food ya!

Second session: Mask on everyone!

The theme for our staff party is Masquerade and there are prizes for the best three masks.

Nice & Impressing Masks, some were self designed mask!

Mask on everyone!!

So, everyone is busy lining up to do a short performance to impress the judge. Where am I ,huh?? .........Outside busy scooping Haagen Daaz for Jessie & myself ~lol~

Third session: Games~~CHARADES~~

Charades is a game of pantomimes: you have to "act out" a phrase without speaking, while the other members of your team try to guess what the phrase is. Some short videos of the games:-

There are also prizes for the game session. Group A won the first prize and the second prize goes to Group C and Group B were given consolation prize.

Last session: Lucky Draws
Each of us are entitle to for the free rooms during the party. Other than that, there are prizes like microwave, dvd players etc. Grand prizes are air tickets with accommodation to Phuket/Bangkok. And the Grand Prize goessssssssss toooooooo.................... me.......

By the way, will I return to Jogoya for their buffet? Honestly, I prefer the buffet in Shang Ri La, but I do plan to revisit Jogoya ( NOT SO SOON, THE PIC IS STILL DANCING IN MY MIND NOW!!)

Ok then.......got to plan my trips soon...

and Good Night!

Saisaki @ Wisma UOA Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur

Remember my post in June 08 mentioning that I will be visiting Saisaki in Aug 08? Yes.. I was there for our company staff gathering in 080808. To compare Saisaki and Shogun, there are not much differences, just that Saisaki offers more varieties of food. Didn't eat much either, but the gathering was fun!
I remember I told Jessie I wasn't in a mood to go....although I like eating. She told me...just go and enjoy and I did!

Saisaki @ Menara UOA
Managed to take 1 photo of their food display and someone stop me for doing so after that!

Jessie & I were guessing what was Eliz looking at from her handphone...4D? Shoudn't be it's Friday!!

Oooopsss!!Full with food or drinks??

Yo!! What you eating man???

Eliz has her supporters.....Yuhoo~~~ Claps for her!

Hahahahaha....Mr. Possess is so possessed!!

Representative from account team!! Bottoms Up!
Seems like Mr. Lee likes to appear in everyone's camera!~LOL~ Kiasu!

And.....here comes my.....HONEY!!! She smiles.....Honey...thank you.....

Lastly, here I am.....posting with the Jinro Soju. Soju is a distilled beverage native to Korea and is clear in color and typically varies in alcohol content from about 20% to about 45%. Jinro is the brand itself and is the is the largest manufacturer of soju. This is my first time trying Soju and it taste like Vodka, a bit sweeter than Vodka actually. Basically that's about it...am not going to blah~~ with this.

Am glad that the gathering turned out to be fun. Although, sometimes the environment in our office is so tense, but it seems like everyone is enjoying themselves! I hope my that I am not offending anyone with those photos I edited...Cheers~~ to all of you!! May everyone stays happy and healthy!

SHOGUN Japanese Buffet Restaurant

aThis is a birthday treat for myself! A middle range Japanese Buffet Restaurant which offer varieties of food with reasonable price. Nothing much to write...cause this is not my first visit though. They serve shabu shabu upon visit and there are even more food varieties now comparing to my earlier visit. If I am not mistaken is RM 55++ per person for dinner buffet.

Their food arrangements and display looks tempting....too bad....no pictures allowed to be taken on their food display.

They don't serve shabu shabu last time...am i right? I prefer FRESH oysters!!...Not in Shogun...it's somewhere else...

I have no time to take photo.....busy eating....It's definitely worth to visit Shogun! By the way, Shogun Japanese Buffet and Restoran Saisaki Japanese Buffet are owned by the same company. And I will be visiting Saisaki in August....so what's the difference? Wait...till I am there...

Where is Shogun/Saisaki?
