San Francisco Coffee @ Lot 10, KL

I could have wake up early in the morning and prepare breakfast by myself, but I didn't. I find myself drifting far far away from the kitchen nowadays. All because of a lame excuse- I am tired! Being not a constant cook but with an affection towards baking and cooking, my kitchen are quite well equipped. Somehow, I noticed that those equipments are more like displays in the museum now.

Well...well.... whatever!

A beautiful Sunday begins with a pleasant breakfast and so, do enjoy the last day of the week to the fullest! As for this week, my warm Sunday begins with a cup of "Morning blend" coffee by San Francisco Coffee!

San Francisco Coffee @ Lot 10 Kuala Lumpur

San Francisco Coffee, from a single outlet in year 1997 has expanded to 27 outlets in Malaysia. A brand for premium coffee and good food with excellent service! And guess what?? San Francisco coffee offers breakfast set too!! There are about 5-6 types of breakfast sets and each breakfast set comes with a cup of coffee /tea which is refillable until 12 noon (Can you drink that much???).

Well, the Omelette Set by San Francisco Coffee is quite appealing. I mean the omelette not the toast or the red beans! The slightly cheesed omelette with diced tomatoes are prepared with a generous portion of cut hams. Dash some pepper to taste and the result was marvelous!

As mentioned earlier, there a a few sets of breakfast offered by San Francisco Coffee. I was looking around and I found the most unattractive breakfast set display among the others which is named as Burito Set! Okay- I ordered Burito Set!

Diced tomatoes, cut sausages, scrambled eggs, mayonnaise and cheese wrapped with tortillas and then grilled before served. Am amused with the grilling idea as the combination of aromatic grilled tortilla with the slightly melted cheese , juicy tomatoes, eggs and sausages was perfect. An awesome breakfast set!

And you don't know where to head for breakfast? Consider San Francisco Coffee!

This is the outlet in Lot 10 KL, which I find their breakfast set prepared is appealing. Am not sure about the performance of other outlets as sometimes the taste and service might differ from outlets to outlets. Try your luck!

Dome Cafe @ Lot 10 Shopping Mall ( CLOSED)

For many times when we pass by Dome cafe, I will say " I miss their spaghetti and cappuccino!" Finally, we went there for lunch and it turned out to be disappointing lunch for me. "Complain Queen" is once my nick name, but I only complain on things or matters that should be complain okay!!

Iced Peach Tea @ RM 9.50, Relaxing herbals-Green & Ginger Tea @ RM 10.50 each

Not having their coffee this today, had 2 cups in the morning already! Opted for their relaxing herbals which is the hot green tea served in silver service as I knew this is gonna be a heavy lunch!

Spicy Chicken Mushroom Pasta @ RM 21.00

A disappointing lunch, this is totally different with what I had in the Mid Valley & Subang Parade outlet! The taste is different and the chicken meat is not fresh at all, the meat has a strong frozen and then defrosted smell, the fridge smell (you get what I mean?) I ended having only their spaghetti, and then commented to one of the waiter who served us. He then came back with a reply that he checked the batch of chicken and it is not expired, and they actually soaked the chicken meat with hot water before cooking it. "Aha...so?, it still taste weird and not fresh"
Anyway, he mentioned that he will bring the message to the chef! ~ I hope so~ In my mind- "I am telling you it is not fresh, so you gotto do something with it...okay...By the way, IF it the chicken meat has expired, will you come out and tell me that it is???? "

Gourmet Chicken & Mushroom Pie @ RM 21.00

Home style chicken and mushroom filling in a porcelain bowl topped with golden baked pastry cap served with sauteed carrots, tomato and broccoli. The gourmet chicken and mushroom pie seems to be one of a popular serving by Dome Cafe, it must be a very filling and rich lunch, I think!

Chicken Ham Cheese & Tomato Gourmet Sandwich @ RM 18.50

Smoked chicken ham, cheese and tomato with mustard mayonnaise on loose mesclun served with tomato chutney and wedges.I think I will try their sandwiches next time with a cup of coffee...aaaahhhh...so nice, it's in my imagination right now!

Whatever it is.........I had my lunch....it is always this way, different outlet with different quality and taste of food. The only restaurant which with many outlets and not much different in food taste are Mc Donalds and KFC, I think.

I am sort of missing those days when I sit alone and enjoy my cup of coffee at Dome Cafe. Am getting lazier these days...don't even feel like going out from the house during weekends!!

Societe Cafe

Made known to this place by my colleagues since I started working. I personally adore the environment of this cafe. The design of the cafe which is in Parisian Style makes me feel relax and calm.

Although the menu's are limited but the foods served are flavorsome. One of the unique meal that I like is their TRADITIONAL HAKKA CHOY POH BEE HOON, which was what I had for my lunch last week. Went there for lunch with Jessie last week.Jessie was not feeling well, so she had Fish Head Bee Hoon. This is the first time she tried this meal but according to her, it's not so exquisite. Try out! You might like it!
