Pasta Mania's (CLOSED)

Disappointment......I love spaghetti's as well. Since my favorite spaghetti has been remove out from the menu in TGIF & Souled Out, I can no longer find one that I really like.

I was so excited when I came across Pasta Mania's in Pavillion last week. After walking around, I had my dinner in Pasta Mania's.

Thought that I can have a nice spaghetti dinner, too bad......

Anyway, this is self service restaurant who claims that they already served 7001149 guests (excluding me and other guests on that day)....Hmmmmm......no comment.

After all, I am disappointed. Never put too high expectation or else will end up like me...

Sometimes when things is gone, it's gone, we can't turn back time! Well, it's in Pavillion..thats it!

Dae Sa Kwan Korean BBQ Restaurant

I love korean food! Especially their traditional side dishes namingly Kimchi. History of Kimchi:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimchi#History.

The frequent places for Korean food that I have been would be the one in Sunway Pyramid-Nolboo and the one in Low Yat Plaza, but their servings seems to be a bit out of my expectation recently.

Walked into Dae Sa Kwan Korean BBQ Restaurant, no plans, not recommended by anyone else...just a try. The food was marvelous. And they served us with 10 side dishes all fresh and tasty. It's worth the price and a try!

By the way, my photos above, I am with clothes...ok... I don't do food testing naked

Starbucks

Ok ok...who hasn't been to Starbucks right? See my happy eating face?

That's my favorite breakfast "English Muffin" which goes along well with a cup of cappuccino or perhaps their latest Caramel Macchiato.

That doesn't mean I am having English Muffin every morning either....just once in a while... to start my day at a relaxing corner and enjoy my favorite breakfast with a cup of coffee!Ok, that's it!

To know more about starbucks; perhaps you should visit their page:

Societe Cafe

Made known to this place by my colleagues since I started working. I personally adore the environment of this cafe. The design of the cafe which is in Parisian Style makes me feel relax and calm.

Although the menu's are limited but the foods served are flavorsome. One of the unique meal that I like is their
TRADITIONAL HAKKA CHOY POH BEE HOON, which was what I had for my lunch last week. Went there for lunch with Jessie last week.Jessie was not feeling well, so she had Fish Head Bee Hoon. This is the first time she tried this meal but according to her, it's not so exquisite. Try out! You might like it!

The Societe Cafe is located in Lot 10 Shopping centre itself. Included is the link that describe Societe cafe. But the information is a bit outdated.

Shabu shabu Train

Shabu-shabu (しゃぶしゃぶ? , also spelled syabu-syabu) is a Japanese variant of hot pot. It is considered a winter dish but is eaten year-round.

A llitle bit of History on Shabu Shabu

The dish may have originated in the 13th century as a way for Genghis Khan to efficiently feed his soldiers. Mongol troops would have gathered around large pots and cooked together. Thinly sliced meat was used for its short cooking time, which allowed the Mongolian army to conserve its limited supply of fuel.

Shabu-shabu was introduced in Japan in the 20th century with the opening of a Shabu-shabu restaurant Suehiro in Osaka. The name of Shabu-shabu was named when Suehiro served it. After that, Suehiro registered the name of shabu-shabu as a trademark in 1955. The cuisine rapidly spread through Asia and is now a popular dish in Western countries as well.

My visit to Shabu Shabu Train!

Obviously, steamboat lovers can savour the dish according to their budget and likings. There is some 250 types of steamboat items which are packed individually on colored plates which indicates the prices, ranging from RM 0.90, RM 1.90, RM 2.90 and RM 3.90. Pay a little bit extra and choose the selection of eel, mussel, salmon and shark fins, and to cook your items, you can choose the soup base preferred which is chicken, tom yam or miso soup base. To keep it simple, you may want to try the combo set they offered or try their ala carte menu!

At last, I am not saying that this is the best steamboat I ever had....it's just a normal not so delicious steamboat, but the varieties offered were so tempting. For me, I am rating it at 2 star restaurant

Jacky's Nasi Lemak Cafe (CLOSED)

Was here last week.....to try out the newly opened cafe. Didn't know this cafe is located near the place I am staying.

Each time when we are out for a meal, we start asking each other "what to eat tonight?" I was very busy last week, so is Hui as well...so who else to decide what to eat tonight?Hahahahaha....
Of course not Hui or me that decide....this time is Ah Shyong! He suggested that we had our meal here as he read it in the newspaper earlier that introduces Jacky's Nasi Lemak Cafe.

Mmmm.... servings are just normal for me but they said it's not bad.Perhaps, it's my mood that spoils my appetite again. But the onion rings is superb!

麻辣火锅 @ Wen's Chinatown Restaurant

Why 2nd April 2008? Because.......I don't know, I just feel like blogging...Hmmmm...where to start? Actually as usual, it's a working day. It's just that, this week itself, the mood of working is not there.

Went out for lunch with Jessie and Lee today to have 麻辣火锅 @ Jln Chang Kak Tambi Dollah, Off Jln Pudu....restaurant name Wen's Chinatown Restaurant....Yummy! Yummy..........

There is a heavy pour today and by 6.30pm, I start receiving SMS and calls and also through MSN that several roads are flooded and the traffic is very jam. At first I thought to knock off early today, but seems like even if I knocked off early, I will reached home only few hours later. Then, I stayed back in the office until 8 p.m.

I was the only one who stay back today excluding the Client Service team. While crossing the pedestrian bridge to Times Square, I did the same thing...passing by the gift shop, I was finding whether they have white roses today. Nope.....no again. When I was in Times Square itself, I saw a couple holding each other as if there is no tomorrow. Envied......continue walking...took the escalator to ground floor...

Walk walk walk...walking slowly and all of the sudden I feel so lonely, as if there is nobody around me.. so empty in me. Perhaps is the classical music played by Times Square that sounds sad and maybe because of that I felt so... I just continue walking and do the same thing everyday, to lower ground, pay the parking fee then to B2 for my car.

Blur and funny part
From B2 I drove up to B1, then I inserted the car park ticket to exit to lower ground. I was on the phone at that point in time...and then...I do not know why....I stopped my car at lower ground and start getting nervous! Hahahahaha....I was looking for my car park ticket, thought I lost it which in fact, I already exit to lower ground. Already exit!!! For 5 minutes I was searching for the ticket! Oh gosh........am I supposed to laugh or feeling stupid?

Bored part
Although I knocked off late, although the rain has gone, But it's still jam.....

Guilty part
I almost reached home, while driving ...I saw a frog jumping hard to cross the road, too bad....I ran over it....mati katak!!!

Finally, am sitting down here chatting with Jessie. Her stomachache......ma lat ma lat...this can be included in the guilty part as well...cause I suggested the lunch.

Time to sleep................
