In Penang, the most commonly found hawker dished would be the Hokkien Noodles (Prawn Noodles), Asam Laksa and Char Kuey Tiow. As for char kuey tiow, the most famous one would be at Lorong Selamat. There is two stalls which sells char kuey tiow here, both the same owner? Am not so sure about this....anyway, one is at the corner lot right beside the car park area and the other one is a few shops away. I was asuming it's the same owner since I saw a signboard mentioning about it.
So here comes my plate of char kuey tiow (fried flat noodles)!
A sinful and yet flavorful plate of char kuey tiow! Fragantly fried over high heat with chinese sausage, bean sprouts and three big and juicy prawns! I have seen reviews mentioning that it's a self service stall, meanoing, you will have to line up and wait for your order. I guess that was quite sometime ago, as during my visit, all I need to do is sit down and wait to be serve and the stall operator is friendly too.
Do visit! No.... you wouldn't want to miss this.......
