Restaurant TaK Fok 得福小厨 @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

The restaurant has been going for few years and is still one of the reputable seafood house. No lavish setting with minimal decor but definitely with a comfortable environment to dine in.

Restaurant TaK Fok is also known for it's cheap seafood (crabs)!

Here's my sharing....

Crabs with Salted Egg Yolk @ RM 22.00
Above pic -portion for 2.Tasted good, without overpowering aroma. It would be even nicer if they are big crabbies. But then again, Tak Fok is famous for it's cheap crabs dishes and if you prefer big and juicy crabs- no, not here!

TF_005

Curry prawns in coconut @ RM 26.00
Thumbs up! Thick and aromatic gravy with succulent and juicy prawns!

TF_008

HockChew (Fu Zhou) 福州 BeanCurd @ RM 9.00
A simple crispy fried bean curd but am loving it so much! The crispy layer tasted awesome!

TF_010

Stir fried Nai Bai @ RM 10.00
A vegetable dish is a must! Acting healthy?

TF_011

Salted vegetable soup with bean curd @ RM 10.00

Where to dine? Here's another suggestion for casual dining. There is another branch at Kepong. I have visited the branch in Bandar Puteri Puchong. Service was not that bad as what I have seen from net. Good Luck!

Spring Garden Chinese Restaurant @ Malacca

A brunch session with my brother and sis in law!

Spring Garden Chinese Restaurant by Tropicana- Tai Thong Group of Restaurants, a traditional Cantonese themed pork-free restaurant.

And if you prefer a quieter environment, here's a good recommendation! Yea, another favored dim sum restaurant with comfortable Chinese interior with a quieter environment in Malacca besides Dynasty Restaurant at Renaissance hotel Malacca. The other hotels in Malacca are incomparable (currently) - unless you prove me otherwise.

Love this!

Steamed Shrimps Cheung Fun (Rice Noodle Roll) @ RM 6.30
Everything dim sum ordered taste pretty good, except for the rice noodle roll. The rice noodles layers are too thick and not soft enough.

Double boiled superior soup with black chicken and chinese herbs @ RM 10.00
Mmmm.... nutritious!

SG_014

Braised Hot & Sour Sichuan Soup @ RM 10.00
This is to satisfy bro's craving!

SG_015

Fried Vermicelli Noodle with seafood and egg @ RM 23.00
An ordinary plate of fried vermicelli that leaves everyone questioning its excellency! Good one!

Enjoyed dining here! The pleasant ambiance with air conditioned comfort with satisfying food delights me.
