Coconut Shake with Vanilla Ice Cream @ RM 2.00
Ice blended coconut juice with plenty tiny bits of coconut pulps top with vanilla ice cream.Mix the ice cream to have a smooth thick milkshake feel else finish up the ice cream and enjoy the drink. Cool & refreshing!

What's next? - Hoe Kopitiam!!

Hoe kopitiam has a new outlet set up in town but we visited the original old coffee shop located at Tanjung Kling (Hainan Village). It's about 30 minutes drive from town.

BUSABA-Heavenly Thai, another restaurant by SEA Cuisine Group. The restaurant started it's operation in Bangsar Shopping Center since December 2010.

The restaurant offers authentic Thai cuisine in a modern setting with calming ambience, warm colours and soft lighting. A happy incorporation of modern interior design with slight touch of traditional Siamese decorations sets the fine-dining mood.

One of the chef''s recommendation. Super spicy for the red soup base and for the clear soup base, it was good too. Pretty satisfying.

Stir fried tender chicken with cashew nuts and dried chillies served in yam basket. Tasteful!.

Pla Meuk Yang @ RM 22.90

BBQ squid served with Thai seafood sauce. Grilled to perfection, taste smacking good with the Thai seafood sauce.

Fresh rice noodles with tiger prawn, ground peanuts and bean sprouts with tamarind dressing. Sweet and spicy, kinda liking it!

Stir fried Kangkong (with belacan or garlic), opted for garlic.

Am blessed that my siblings love to hunt for good food too! Thanks to my dear brother for taking me to various places for food each time when I am back hometown.

I have tried to google search and funny it seems as there ain't any post about this restaurant. Unbelievable.

Porridge with smooth and consistent texture boiled with tasty marinated minced pork topped with spring and fried onions- Marvelous! The porridge itself is pretty satisfying.

Porridge house offers 12 different types of porridge-plain porridge, chicken, preserved eggs, double yolk, fish, prawn balls, fresh frog, special seafood, scallop, crabmeat with sharkfins, minced pork, plain porridge and abalone porridge.
Pick any of your choices and order some dishes to enjoy with(if you would like too)

The porridge is good, but with the dishes is even better- because Porridge House serves good food!

Meeting up with my girl mate at KLCC! Am happy that we had a good catch up at Cafe Vienna.

A cafe with soft, romantice ambience clearly appealing to many young couples to dine in. Wait, did I just mentioned young couples? Ahh... who cares... we like the quiet environment here.

Spaghetti Vongole @ RM 36.00

Spagethi with clams, garlic, olive oil and seasonings. Spaghetti Vongole are normally prepared in two ways- with tomato (in rosso) or without tomato (in Bianco). Myself preferred in Bianco, but this is satisfying too besides lacking of the al dente feel.

Chicken Sandwich @ RM 26.00
Crispy fried well marinated chicken chop with cheese. Just nice!

Drinks: Pineapple Sunshine & Bora Bora Brew @ RM 16.00/each


Enjoyed the time spent here. Cafe Vienna serves coffee, western food and desserts. A perfect place to chill out.

Soya Green tea, not too sweet yet smooth- Just nice! Semifreddo and tofu cakes are both the dessert I wanted to try so much. Semifreddo is a class of semi frozen dessert with a texture of frozen mouse. Loving white chocolate semifreddo by Poco and love the white rose design too!

Started our dinner with Emping Sambal Terasi as appetizer . Emping, made of melinjo nuts, nutty and slightly bitter in taste blends well with sambal terasi. Had a glass of cucumber latte to satisfy my craving for coffee before starting dinner. And the yellow rice, it's extremely good!

Grilled Terong (Eggplant) topped with sambal (chilli paste), vegetable and fried onions- Sweet, spicy with assam. -Appetizing! Gulai Pucuk Paku, fernleaf with aromatic tumeric curry topped with anchovies and fried onions.

Dancing Fish with sambal terasi kicap @ RM 38.00


Bebek(Duck) marinated with special mix of Balinese herbs and spices for 24 hours fried till crispy. Served with salad and chilli sauce- Awesome! And here comes the signature dish- Dancing Fish! Opted for fried tilapia served with sambal terasi and soy sauce. Other choices are Masam Kedondong Pedas, Belimbing Salad (Starfruit salad), Mango Kerabu and Tangy Acar.

Dancing fish, a restaurant with good food and comfortable environment. Enjoyed my dinner here!
