Alexis Bistro & Bar @ Jalan Telawi, Bangsar

Yo..yo!!! I am back! I am back! They are back as well...with new renovation and new design! But, I am bit disappointed, cause the cake that I always wanted to try is sold out again! Pavlova.... Pavlova.... when can I eat you ? Alexis Bistro & Bar, a place that you can unwind yourself. Was brought to this outlet in Bangsar few years ago by my best friends Hui & Patrick. I still remember, after that year, each year we bought cakes from there for each others birthday until both of them says "Oh..No!No!No!"

Alexis Bistro & Bar are currently expanding and their latest outlet is in The Gardens, which is the largest Alexis outlet to date. But I have always wanted to visit their Ampang outlet in Great Eastern Mall on Friday or Saturday night because it is the only Alexis outlet with live Jazz performances! Wines with Jazz....Yo~~~ Damn nice!
Too bad....I can't find someone to go with me...and it also depends on who you go with as well!!

It's me....having their Tiramisu again! RM 13++ per piece, whole cake would be RM 105++...and the other one is their brownies..not much choices left, so I choose their brownies, but it does not taste as nice I expected. As usual, if Jessie is there, I would have told her...I baked nicer brownies!!! Then, she will asked where is my Chocolate Honey Muffins you owed me??!!!

That's about it! Was there just to have their cakes!

the Waterlily Cafe @ Puchong Jaya

A few bloggers recommended this cafe which is under the same management with Bumbu Bali. I have always wanted to go to Bumbu Bali, but it so happened that we passed by "the Waterlily Cafe" so I had my dinner here. If I am not mistaken, I have read good reviews regarding this cafe.

Now is my turn to say something. I have 1 sentence to conclude- The mosquitoes living near the cafe would be very happy seeing you visiting the cafe, cause you will serve them better than what the cafe serves you...hahahhahahaha...

Cờ Đỏ Vietnamese Restaurant @ Mid Valley Megamall

This is my first time visiting Cờ Đỏ, just an unplanned visit! Not in a very good mood that day....but that does not affect my demand on quality food.
Cờ Đỏ is a restaurant which serves vietnamese cuisine. In Vietnam, (Cờ Đỏ) is a district (huyện) of Can Tho in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. I guess, this is the reason the restaurant is named Cờ Đỏ, which is the origin place of the food. Well, the environment is quiet and cozy, just nice for a quiet dinner.

After taking orders, the waitress came along with two big chops with some wordings on it and chopped it on the piece of paper placed on the table. I looked at her curiously and she told me it's to wish visitors "Good Luck!" I wonder where the paper goes after we leave the restaurant; rubbish bin? Ohh!!! there goes their wishes...

We had their set meal for one RM 18++ per person, one Chargrilled chicken set and another Village chicken set. All main dishes are topped with mixed vegetable, plus 2 Vietnamese Di Sum of the day; served with rice and soup or soup noodle or cold vermicelli with Frees Ice Lime Tea or soya bean. Food was satisfying only. Only then when I was surfing back at home, I realized that this place is famous with their Vietnamese Dim Sum, perhaps I will be back to try their Dim Sum but I doubt myself the possibility of me returning to the restaurant, as I did read some comment that their Dim Sum doesn't taste nice at all!! Hmmmm....that's it!

SHOGUN Japanese Buffet Restaurant

aThis is a birthday treat for myself! A middle range Japanese Buffet Restaurant which offer varieties of food with reasonable price. Nothing much to write...cause this is not my first visit though. They serve shabu shabu upon visit and there are even more food varieties now comparing to my earlier visit. If I am not mistaken is RM 55++ per person for dinner buffet.

Their food arrangements and display looks tempting....too bad....no pictures allowed to be taken on their food display.

They don't serve shabu shabu last time...am i right? I prefer FRESH oysters!!...Not in Shogun...it's somewhere else...

I have no time to take photo.....busy eating....It's definitely worth to visit Shogun! By the way, Shogun Japanese Buffet and Restoran Saisaki Japanese Buffet are owned by the same company. And I will be visiting Saisaki in August....so what's the difference? Wait...till I am there...

Where is Shogun/Saisaki?
